High Voltage Power Systems Specialist Job Summary

As a High Voltage Power Systems Specialist at Hitachi Vantara Corporation, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing next-generation technologies that enable the transmission of electricity over long distances and via submarine cables. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in HV power systems to drive business success and contribute to the development of innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
∙ Support the HVDC service team in the UK & Ireland with engineering and technical expertise
∙ Work closely with the Operations manager to develop and implement personnel training and certification programs
∙ Collaborate with the HSEQ advisor to develop, review and improve existing and new procedures and policies
∙ Maintain and develop maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements

Requirements
∙ An undergraduate Engineering degree with 3+ years relevant experience in HV power systems
∙ Experience creating, reviewing and approving high level policy and procedural documents
∙ Fluent written & spoken English
∙ A full clean driving license with access to a car
∙ At least 3+ years' experience in HV power systems or a heavy industrial environment
