At eXPD8, we're seeking a skilled Retail Merchandising Specialist to join our field-based retail merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you'll work in high street retailers on behalf of iconic brands, ensuring that products and promotions are displayed attractively and effectively.

This role involves setting up fixtures, arranging products on shelves, and implementing planograms to maintain consistency and compliance with merchandising standards. You'll also be responsible for setting up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.

As a Retail Merchandising Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work across various categories, including ad-hoc projects. You'll be required to work 6 days a week, with confirmed working days/hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus ad-hoc work as agreed.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and use your own initiative to find solutions. You'll also need to be comfortable with manual handling and have a full UK driving license and access to a car.

Key responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Standards: You'll know and stick to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong communication and relationship building: You'll build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.

Requirements:

  • Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative to find solutions.
  • Comfortable with manual handling.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car.
