Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing and Public Relations Intern to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for supporting our PR Manager with daily tasks, including press and social media monitoring, tracking results and metrics, and compiling press and campaign recaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the PR Manager with general admin and activity, including daily press and social media monitoring, tracking results and metrics, and clipping and saving coverage.
  • Assist with the distribution of assets to media to support coverage, including press releases, product images, and other marketing materials.
  • Support with fulfilling press and influencer product and image requests, as well as managing the send outs for campaign mailers and daily ad-hoc requests.
  • Manage the PR cupboard, ensuring it is consistently stocked and well-organized, and request samples as needed.
  • Support with LTK creator outreach and engagement, as well as key retailer outreach and engagement.
  • Provide vital support on PR events and activations, and assist with key research projects, including competitor activity and scoping out new talent and media opportunities.
  • Support with budget tracking and database management, including maintaining and updating press and influencer contacts.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and departments simultaneously, with a team player attitude and a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Desire to be part of a high-performance team, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with previous PR experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
  • Experience using media monitoring platforms, such as Launchmetrics or Tribe Dynamics, is a plus.
