Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Technician to join our team at Shorewood Homes Ltd in Winchester, Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing design, technical and planning input to multiple departments across the business.

Main Responsibilities:

· Assist with the preparation of land bids, providing design, technical and planning input to inform early site layouts and enable land valuations.

· Produce and amend planning house type layouts and other design drawings and documentation.

· Coordinate and produce construction information (prelim, tender and construction detailing).

· Submit Building Regulation applications and manage the process thereafter.

· Coordinate and issue construction information to site.

· Coordinate associated consultants and disciplines.

· Manage projects on site, handling queries as they arise, attending site meetings and other liaison as required.

· Produce contract, legal and conveyancing drawings.

· Handle post-completion issues and provide technical input into customer care issues.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a housebuilder's design and technical department (not essential but preferable).

· 5 GCSEs grade 5(/C) or above including Maths and English.

· Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.

· Minimum five years' experience.

· Computer / IT literate with ability to use Excel and Word.

· Ability to use AutoCAD competently.
