Chartered Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Structural Engineer to join our client's expanding design consultancy in Huddersfield. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality residential projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical design support to clients across the UK
  • Deliver accurate reports and designs for residential projects
  • Contribute to the company's growth and success
  • Mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in UK-based design consultancies
  • Proficiency in Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber materials
  • Strong knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and design guidance
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and technical design skills
  • Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE
  • Valid driving license and access to own vehicle
Software Proficiency:
  • AutoCAD
  • TEDDS
  • Microsoft Office suite
