Business Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to support our Behaviour Support Team in the Council's Business Support Hub.

  • Monitor the Behaviour Support Team shared mailbox and phone line effectively.
  • Oversee the Part-Time Timetables Microsoft Forms and reports submitted by schools to the local authority.
  • Manage the booking of all events and meetings for the Behaviour Support Team.
  • Create and maintain a termly meeting schedule for the Behaviour Support Team.
  • Obtain actions for the Behaviour Support Team from the fortnightly Social Inclusion Panel meetings, ensuring relevant staff are informed and accountable for completion.
  • Complete all administration for the annual Counselling Course run by the Behaviour Support Team, including course setup on the SLA Online Portal and communication with schools.
  • Support the annual Transition Support Programme for pupils transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7, providing necessary administrative assistance.
  • Assist office managers in maintaining Behaviour Support Team staff DBS records and service pool permit renewals.
