Job Description:
As our Assistant Shop Manager, you will assist the Shop Manager in maximising shop income and profitability through safe day-to-day operational management. You will be responsible for key performance indicators, act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, and support the work of the charity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cash reconciliation and financial controls effectively.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the shop.
- Represent Cats Protection as a role model for the values and behaviours of the charity.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrable learning and experience from working in a relevant retail environment. You should have experience of working to sales targets, operating cash reconciliation and financial controls, and understanding the importance of brand representation.

Our retail operation consists of over 80 charity shops across the country. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the work of Cats Protection and making a difference in your local community.
