Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at uSwitch. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our insurance-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new application features to improve our products.
- Write high-quality code that follows our patterns and practices.
- Automate testing of built features.
- Build extensible functionality.
- Participate in peer reviews and offer advice.
- Identify and communicate issues.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings.
- Mentor team members.
Requirements:
- High level of proficiency in C#, .Net Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOLID Principles, Web API, and React/Typescript.
- Familiarity with SCRUM agile development environment.
- Good understanding of development methodologies and design patterns.
- Ability to investigate and resolve issues.
- Experience working in Cloud computing environment.
- Experience in containerisation and IaC.
Location and Hybrid Working:
- This role will sit in our Fleet office 2 days per week.
