Key Responsibilities:

  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively as a member of a team to achieve production outputs in a timely manner.
  • Product Preparation: Use knives and scissors to trim, slice, and dice product in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that product quality is maintained and any product that fails to meet standards is dealt with accordingly.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of product from the floor in the appropriate waste bin.
  • Task Rotation: Rotate tasks throughout the area to ensure a comprehensive understanding of all production processes.
  • Health and Safety: Work in a manner that promotes the health and safety of oneself and others, reporting any health and safety issues to the immediate manager.
  • Quality and Hygiene: Ensure that quality and hygiene standards are maintained in the production environment.
  • Productivity: Ensure that productivity standards are maintained, and be willing to work overtime or outside core hours to meet orders and demand.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Actively seek to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within your area and across the wider business.

Requirements:

  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Effective liaison, team working, and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff.
  • Physical Demands: Extensive periods of standing and repetitive movements.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work in any area of the business as and when demand requires it.

Working Hours: Twilight Shift - Monday to Friday, 18:00-02:00.
