We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Starfyn Education. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with autism and other special educational needs.

The successful candidate will provide support to students before, during, and after lessons, promoting a love of learning and inspiring engagement. They will also assist with individual needs, including medical and personal care tasks, and provide physical support where necessary.

The role requires a positive and resilient individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a similar school, college, or provision, and will have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.

Main Duties:

  1. Support students with autism and other special educational needs.
  2. Provide individualized support to students, including medical and personal care tasks.
  3. Assist with physical support where necessary.
  4. Help promote a love of learning and inspire engagement.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience of working with students with autism and other special educational needs.
  2. Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
  3. Positive and resilient individual with excellent communication skills.
