Healthcare Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Scientist to join our team at ARHAI Scotland, within NHS National Services Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to prevent healthcare-associated infections.

• Provide specialized information, advice, and support to stakeholders on healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive epidemiological knowledge base to inform health protection programs.
• Collaborate with other groups involved in healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.
• Support consultants, program leads, and senior scientific staff in the provision of expert advice and guidance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in a scientific or clinical subject.
• Proven experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of epidemiology and statistical analysis.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
• A commitment to the NHS values of respect, care, openness, and integrity.
