Mental Health Support Worker with Psychology Experience

As a registered supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework, we have opportunities for qualified individuals to provide person-centered care for young people with severe learning disabilities and autism.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role starts at £16.28 per hour for the first 12 weeks and increases to £16.94 per hour thereafter. In addition to the competitive pay, Direct Medics offers various benefits, including free safety intervention training, mandatory training, and relocation assistance for all candidates. Furthermore, mileage is paid at trust rates, and accommodation allowance is available to applicants.
About the RoleThis locum role involves providing safe and effective care for young people who require assistance with daily living activities, as well as contributing to the assessment of care needs and developing care plans. The ideal candidate will have a degree in psychology or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience working with children with learning difficulties and challenging behavior. Additional desirable criteria include PBS training and safety intervention training.
