As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our IT team, ensuring the smooth operation of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and other IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain accurate information in the CMDB
  • Proactively validate CMDB data for completeness and quality, identifying areas for improvement
  • Generate and deliver reports and lists, providing valuable insights
  • Collaborate with the colleagues of the IT Services Team to enhance the CMDB and improve data accuracy
  • Actively check and follow up on the ordered Assets versus the delivered Assets
  • Estimate and calculate Life Cycle Cost (LCC) or Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for assets/asset systems
  • Disposal and repair process with individual vendors, inclusive of extended warranties
  • Build Network base of Charities with DHL Foundation and DHL Delivering Help for Learners
  • Build relationships and communicate with all 3rd party suppliers and ensure timely forecasting
  • Cross functional assistance with BAU ordering process
  • All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.

Training and Qualifications:

  • End-Point Assessment (EPA):Knowledge test, Portfolio based interview, Project presentation
  • Delivery Method: Online portfolio to update with learning and development, diarised virtual appointments with a dedicated Learning Coach, attendance to training sessions, workshops, masterclasses (online)
  • Additional training to take place to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours in accordance with this Apprenticeship standard

Requirements:

  • GCSE (or equivalent UK Level 2 qualifications) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths. Evidence of certificates must be provided
  • IT knowledge and capabilities
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Problem solving abilities
