Centurion Group is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to manage the procurement and inventory management processes. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, negotiating, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and Inventory Management:
- Procure materials and supplies from approved vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Vendor Management:
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality of materials.
- Issue vendor questionnaires and maintain vendor certifications.
- Order Processing and Administration:
- Prepare and process purchase orders using Sage 200, track deliveries, and ensure all supporting documentation is received.
- Provide administrative support, manage 3rd party contractors, and maintain an organized work environment.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to company health and safety policies, challenge unsafe acts, and contribute to a positive QHSE culture.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- SCQF Level 8 (HND, Technical Apprenticeship, or Bachelor's Degree) in supply chain management or a related discipline.
- Experience:
- Preferably, you have experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment, purchasing, vendor management, and using Sage 200 manufacturing.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, task management, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Personal Qualities:
- We need someone enthusiastic, committed, and a fast learner who can work independently as well as in a team.
