We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Director to lead our Mobilising System Programme in a major Glasgow public sector project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the planning, execution, and outcomes of this complex transformational project using appropriate project management frameworks and methodologies.
  2. Implement and maintain project management standards, compliance, and best practices to ensure effective delivery within scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
  3. Develop strategic relationships with relevant Board and Committee members, Senior Leadership, and organisation wide senior stakeholders, working closely with the Senior Responsible Officer.
  4. Manage suppliers, contracts, and teams to deliver complex technical implementations to time, cost, and quality.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Extensive experience of managing suppliers, contracts, and teams to deliver complex technical implementations to time, cost, and quality.
  2. Proven experience of successfully implementing new technical pieces of work, ideally within emergency services, defence, airports, or highways.
  3. Confident with Agile and Waterfall delivery practices.
  4. Significant evidence of continued professional development.
  5. Recognised project management qualification(s), such as Major Projects Leadership Academy Certified or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
