About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality recovery care to individuals and their families affected by substance misuse. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans, promoting healthy relationships and a supportive environment for families to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored recovery plans
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and resilience
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices and service improvements
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a health and social care setting, preferably in substance misuse or family support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
