At Career Legal, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our busy facilities team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality facilities service, ensuring that all contractors and suppliers provide a cost-effective and high-quality service. This will involve liaising with building management and external contractors, maintaining accurate records, and resolving queries in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilities Helpdesk Service: Manage and resolve queries related to the facilities helpdesk service, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring all issues are followed up to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Contractor Management: Ensure all contractors and suppliers provide a cost-effective and high-quality service, in accordance with their contractual terms and undertaking tender processes where necessary.
  • Pre-Planned Works: Ensure all pre-planned contractor works are undertaken in accordance with in-house and building management processes, from arranging bookings to task completion.
  • Reactive Works: Ensure all reactive works are undertaken in accordance with in-house and building management processes, including attendance out of hours at short notice.
  • Joiner and Leaver Tasks: Ensure all joiner and leaver tasks are completed, including attending partner onboarding and exit meetings and conducting new joiner inductions.
  • Office Environment: Ensure the office environment is effective for agile working, including the operation of the desk booking system, locker provision, and supporting the clear desk policy.
