About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at McBride Sport. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our environmental strategies and delivering impactful sustainability initiatives for major sporting events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with commercial and client services teams to educate and engage clients on sustainability goals and best practices.
  • Lead the development and execution of environmental sustainability strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to implement waste management solutions, GHG emissions analysis, and other environmental initiatives.
  • Prepare pre- and post-event sustainability reports, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sustainability within events, with a strong understanding of environmental management systems and industry regulations.
  • Strong project management and client-facing experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in data collection, analysis, and visualization, with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
