Civil Engineering Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineering Contract Manager to join our West Region team in Bromsgrove. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring contractual control and cost management across a wide range of projects.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and driven individual to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Based in our Bromsgrove office, you will work closely with our production team to ensure the success of our projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Contractual control and cost management across various projects
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
  • Collaborating with the production team to achieve project objectives

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience working on residential groundwork schemes. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for construction, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience working on residential groundwork schemes
  • General knowledge of contractual terms within construction
  • Excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:

  • A car or car allowance (£660 per month)
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 23 days holiday, plus 1 per year for 3 years, +1 after 5 years, +1 after 10 years (up to a maximum of 28) + bank holidays
  • Buy and sell holiday scheme
  • Death in service *2 annual salary
  • Pension Employer 3.5 and employee 4.5
