We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Delay Analyst to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a Construction Delay Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting our expert witness in carrying out forensic analysis on a variety of construction disputes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for providing support to the lead delay expert in carrying out methodical and thorough forensic analysis related to multiple disputes. This will include compiling as-built progress data, investigating causes of delay, and developing factual chronologies of events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead delay expert in carrying out forensic analysis on construction disputes
  • Compile as-built progress data and investigate causes of delay
  • Develop factual chronologies of events and provide support to the lead delay expert
  • Work closely with the expert witness to develop a comprehensive understanding of the nature of the dispute being analysed
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant role such as a civil engineer, mechanical engineer, construction planner or construction project manager
  • Strong understanding of the common methods of delay analysis, as set out in the Society of Construction Law Delay and Disruption Protocol
  • Ability to forensically investigate and analyse baseline and progress updated programmes using industry standard programming software packages
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and oral
