About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team at Bright Horizons Beacon Road Day Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging learning experiences that meet the needs of all children.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our nursery's curriculum and policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery and the delivery of high-quality care and education.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of our nursery.
Requirements
- Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
- Previous experience working within the Early Years sector.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
