Nurse Specialist Opportunity

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment, collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have a caring attitude, reliability, flexibility, and a good sense of humour. They will also possess excellent teamwork skills and be able to mentor students and supervise junior staff. Our ideal candidate will have recent experience within a comparable role and be familiar with assessment and therapeutic interventions in their area of practice.

This position is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The estimated salary for this role is around £40,000-£45,000 per annum, based on experience.

Main Duties
  • Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff
  • Contributing to the management of change initiatives
  • Developing and implementing programs of care for individuals or groups of patients
