Maintenance Operative Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff by performing regular health and safety checks.
  • Maintain the overall presentation of the home and garden.
  • Effective communication is vital in this role, engaging with residents, their families, and colleagues as part of daily activities.
  • Liaise with contractors, coordinate their services, and ensure work is completed to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Collaboration is key to fostering a positive environment for residents and contributing to a thriving home.
  • Practical skills in recognizing and performing minor repairs are essential, including basic plumbing skills and DIY experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of health and safety protocols is necessary, with familiarity with Legionella disease being beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation are required.
  • The role will include using an iPad and/or laptop, along with compliance applications used daily.
