Job Title: Specialist Technicians

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Technician to join our team at J.V. Installations Corp.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide advanced technical support for Windows Server Technologies, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  2. Manage and maintain Windows and Apple devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  3. Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  4. Develop and implement web development projects using HTML, Java, and WordPress.

Desirable Attributes:

  1. Relevant experience in an educational setting, with knowledge of wireless deployment and Department initiatives.
  2. Previous experience with planning, deployment, and management of 1 to 1 user/devices in an enterprise environment.
  3. Ability to plan and run ICT professional development sessions and work collaboratively with the Schools' ICT Management.

Personal Qualities:

  1. Motivated and self-sufficient, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  2. Resourceful and able to find and research information to derive appropriate solutions to problems.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate using appropriate language to accommodate stakeholders.
  4. Ability to troubleshoot through systematic processes of observation and elimination.

Additional Requirements:

  1. A valid Working with Children Check is required to accept the Letter of Offer for the successful candidate.
  2. All candidates submitted must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the start date in the Letter of Offer.
  3. It is incumbent on all candidates to ensure the Skills Matrix is completed in full and that all details are accurate.
