Job Title: Mechanical Services Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Services Estimator to join our team at Hays. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical estimating and a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Estimation and Analysis: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.
  2. Risk Assessment and Opportunity Evaluation: Evaluate risks and opportunities associated with each project to ensure accurate estimates.
  3. Tender Preparation and Submission: Develop competitive tenders that align with project requirements and client expectations.
  4. Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical estimating within the construction industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
