Expert Dissector

We are seeking an experienced Expert Dissector to join our team at Liverpool Clinical Laboratories. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for dissection of histological specimens from all specialties, including Category A-C specimens.

You will provide support to medical staff by participating in the weekly pan-departmental cut-up rota and take responsibility for the management of specimen reception or dissection laboratories. You will ensure effective processes are in place to provide timely specimen flow and the highest quality service.

You will work collaboratively with a team of expert and advanced dissectors to ensure quality practices are adhered to in line with ISO15189. Additionally, you will contribute to the training of biomedical scientists and laboratory technicians within your team.
