Nursing Leader

As a Clinical Sister on the Stroke Unit at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, you will be part of the leadership team working with staff to help them achieve their potential. The ward provides high-quality, evidence-based care to patients following a stroke and their ongoing rehabilitation. You will be responsible for ensuring that staff receive development reviews, training, and education to enhance patient and staff experiences.
Main Responsibilities- To identify common issues affecting quality of care and devise action plans to address shortcomings.
- To support the clinical team and act as a credible role model while encouraging staff to develop professionally and personally.
- To assist the Ward Manager and Deputy with rostering, incident investigating, and complaints handling.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience as Band 5 and possess leadership qualifications. As a Practice Assessor/Supervisor, you will have experience of managing a team or area within a ward. A Disclosure and Barring Service Check will be required for this position.
