Job Title: FLT/Warehouse Operative

Freightroute Ltd is a leading family-owned Palletised Distribution Network, operating from ten strategic sites throughout the UK, employing over 420 people, with a fleet of over 175 LGV's and 100 trailers, handling over 800,000 pallets per annum.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled FLT/Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Thetford depot. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading inbound palletised freight safely and moving pallets to and from warehouse, canopy, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect forklift trucks daily and report any issues found.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety, complying with all Health and Safety legislation.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound pallets are loaded accurately and free of damage, and label them correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, assisting in maintaining the tidiness of the warehouse, canopy, and trailers.
  • Hold a current counterbalance certification.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.

Previous experience of operating in a busy warehouse environment loading and unloading pallets for a fleet of HGV's and trailers is preferred, but new qualified operators are welcome.
