The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is seeking a Technology Manager to lead the Metrology and NDT team in Coventry. As a key member of the Technology Group, you will be responsible for delivering technical excellence and driving innovation in the field of metrology and non-destructive testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver business objectives and drive the best results for the MTC.
- Work with senior managers to develop and implement business strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, including the High Value Manufacturing Catapult network and academic partners.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to develop leadership and management skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in metrology and NDT, including ultrasonic inspection methods, electromagnetic testing, and radiation-based inspection methodologies.
- Strong technical expertise in metrology and NDT, with a focus on ultrasonic inspection methods and additional NDT techniques.
- Experience in leading teams and developing business strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
