Location: Various Runwood Homes locations across the UK

Salary: £11.58 per hour (estimated annual salary: £24,216)

Hours: 14 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being among residents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement activity programmes tailored to individual needs and preferences
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of activities
  • Contribute to the development of mealtimes as a highlight of the day, promoting a sense of community and enjoyment
  • Maintain excellent community links to enhance resident engagement and opportunities

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activity Engagement Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being among residents. This role requires a positive forward-thinking approach, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to enthuse and guide others.

  • Previous experience in a care setting or similar environment
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver high-quality activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands
