The Role

At UCC Coffee, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Refurbishment Technician. As a key member of our equipment maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality performance of our coffee machines.

  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble parts through our Preventative Maintenance procedure to guarantee parts are reassembled to a high, consistent standard.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing of assembly parts returned from our Field Service Engineers, utilizing test rigs to identify failure points.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet company productivity targets in your section, aligning with your level of experience.
  • Ensure all work carried out meets the correct specification, adhering to our quality control standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety disciplines.

The Person

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual who is eager to learn new skills and adapt to our fast-paced environment. As a Trainee Refurbishment Technician, you will be expected to:

  • Work in an organized and methodical manner, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, providing regular updates on your progress.
  • Develop a keen eye for detail, ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards.
  • Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
