About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Software Engineer to join our team at Study International. As a Senior Cyber Security Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end process of building out security solutions and controls, from architecting and designing, through to development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing security solutions with an automated and scalable approach, utilizing technologies such as webhooks and Docker.
  • Developing and extending open-source security automation tooling, including detection tooling and security process automation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security requirements and develop solutions to address them.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and implementing best practices to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong background in cyber security.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills, including experience with Go, Python, and NodeJS.
  • Experience deploying in public cloud environments, such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Day-to-day experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Passion for cyber security and a commitment to staying current with emerging threats and technologies.
