About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Baxter. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new business and launching new digital software solutions into the NHS and new countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the digital health solutions space.
  • Partner with hospital trusts and healthcare organizations to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to launch new products and services, including mobile communication, medical device integration, waveform visualization, alarm and alert management, and more.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with healthcare organizations and technology companies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, IT professionals, and C-suite executives.
  • Manage and analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software direct sales at a hospital or system level, with a strong track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • Strong solutions selling experience with a history of new account development with early-to-market digital and software solutions.
  • Technical understanding of the Healthcare IT environment and working knowledge of clinical and medical processes and workflows.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool and track record of sales pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to details, organization, and time management skills.
  • Oral and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and staff externally as well as internal team members.
  • Effective negotiation and closing skills.
