Job Description

**Senior Solutions Architect - Financial Services**

The People Network is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in defining and delivering software and solutions architectures that support the creation of our new microservices platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems.
  2. Develop architectural designs that encompass the target solutions architecture.
  3. Drive quality through adoption of standards and best practices.
  4. Build close working relationships with engineering and the wider technology group.
  5. Lead architecture and design reviews throughout the development lifecycle.
  6. Support product management in defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product capabilities.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to design and implement end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems.
  2. Experience in conceptual, application, integration, logical, and physical modeling.
  3. Experience in analyzing and implementing solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  4. Experience in producing low-level software architectures.
  5. Deep microservices background.
  6. Experience across modern architectural and delivery standards and methods, including Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices.
  7. Ability to build and develop relationships across all levels of the business.
  8. Experience and appreciation for the payments industry is preferred but not essential.
