Festive Postal Courier

This Festive Postal Courier position offers a unique opportunity to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of mail and parcels across Scotland during the peak festive period.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver mail and parcels to customers across Scotland, utilizing a hand-held device for signature capture and navigation
• Sort and collect post/parcels at the local delivery office, preparing them for delivery
• Perform deliveries on foot or by vehicle, covering distances of at least 8 miles per day while carrying a post bag
• Drive and deliver packages, using a post trolley during these tasks

Key Requirements:

• Must possess a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
• Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not essential
• Superb time management and organizational skills, ensuring efficient delivery routes and task completion
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, facilitating effective interactions with customers and colleagues
• A strong commitment to safe and responsible driving practices, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the success of our delivery operations

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per year, based on a 37-40 hour workweek and paid at an hourly rate of £18.08.
