Job Summary

The LSE Department of Health Policy is seeking a skilled Communications and Events Assistant to support the delivery of a wide range of events and internal and external communications. The successful candidate will work closely with the Department of Health Policy Communication and Marketing Manager to promote events, maintain social media channels, produce newsletters, and assist with website updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and execution of events, including seminars and conferences
  • Develop and implement effective internal and external communications strategies
  • Update the Department's website and maintain social media channels
  • Produce high-quality content for newsletters and other communications
  • Work closely with academic and senior staff to deliver the Departmental and Internal Seminar Series

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable proficiency with digital event tools and ability to effectively communicate across multiple channels
  • Ability to tailor content for different audiences
  • Experience producing content in a professional context (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, newsletters)
