Head of Governance and Reporting

Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Governance and Reporting. This is a unique opportunity to build a governance framework from the ground up and establish a reporting function within the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Head of GRC, the Group CISO, and various stakeholders to promote transparency, accountability, and compliance with relevant requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate governance principles, risk management frameworks, and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement a governance framework that ensures effective governance across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a reporting function that meets internal and external requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, information security, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in a large, international, and complex organization.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across the organization.

Desirable:

  • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CGEIT).
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Sound analytical skills to extract insights from information.
  • Proficiency in governance and reporting software tools.

Please note that this role has been deemed inside of IR35, and you will need to work through an umbrella company if successful.
