We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Babcock International Ltd. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the tendering and organic growth agenda of our Mission Systems Secure Communications business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide key financial support to the Finance Manager and Head of Business, including building strong relationships with cost centre managers and bidding teams.
- Input towards the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and Overhead review packs, reviewing regularly with all key stakeholders.
- Complete forecasting requirements on-time and to the highest standard.
- Constantly review Projects to ensure profit maximisation and trading margins are accurate.
- Holding monthly reviews with the Operational team to provide details of performance and areas questioning / challenging where necessary.
- Demonstratable experience in a similar role.
- Experience with pricing and cost accounting.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - in particular, Excel modelling skills.
- Strong cross-functional networking and collaboration skills.
- Advanced numeric, analytical and technical skills.
- You must hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent / similar.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
