Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Haverfordwest Creamery team. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our process equipment.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in maintenance and fault finding on automation systems and process equipment. As a key member of our team, you will undertake planned and unplanned maintenance work to achieve KPI targets.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Carry out condition monitoring, address changes immediately, and escalate as appropriate">
  • Maintain department and factory procedures">
  • Diagnose, fault analyze, and repair PLC control systems">
  • Interrogate site-planned maintenance system for maintenance history retrieval and trending">
  • Maintain electrical equipment, motors, drives">

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering)">
  • Recognised apprenticeship in a modern factory or manufacturing environment, ideally within a food or process manufacturing industry">
  • Proven experience in maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting a diverse range of process equipment">
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently">
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams">
