Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled CCTV Operator to join our team at OCS Group. As a CCTV Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV systems in a systematic and organized manner to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a swift and effective response to security incidents.
- Manage the FM Radio System to ensure seamless communication between team members.
- Monitor life safety systems, including fire alarms, intruder systems, and sprinkler systems, and take necessary actions to protect life and property.
- Respond to enquiries and incidents via the Intercom and Telephone Systems, providing a professional and courteous service.
- Produce reports on false alarms and response times to ensure continuous improvement.
- Accurately record events, incidents, and evacuations in the occurrence book to maintain a comprehensive record of activities.
- Provide a high level of service to visitors, retailers, and contractors, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements, fire regulations, and company policies, and undertake first aid training as required.
- Perform other duties as required by senior staff members.
Requirements:
- Education to O'Level/GCSE or NVQ level 3 standard.
- Knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) Licence.
- First Aid at Work Certificate.
- SIA Guarding or Door Supervisors licence.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Experience in a similar environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Multitasking and critical thinking skills.
