About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to join our in-house legal team, specializing in Childcare law. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice on childcare matters, manage a caseload of child protection cases, and advise on policy, strategy, and procedures related to childcare issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general and specialist childcare advice to clients, colleagues, and elected members.
  • Manage a caseload of child protection cases, including attendance at court and tribunals, and undertake advocacy where required.
  • Advising on policy, strategy, and procedures relating to childcare issues.
Requirements
  • Experience in childcare law and child protection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
