SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic primary school in DE72. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN in Primary schools and the ability to work effectively with pupils with ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the school's EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) to ensure the best possible support for the pupil.
  • Provide individualized support to the pupil, adapting to their needs and learning style.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to discuss any changes in the pupil's behavior or progress.
  • Develop and implement a flexible approach to learning, incorporating the pupil's interests and strengths.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Cache/NVQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of ADHD and experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
