About the Role
The Senior Culinary Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols. This involves assisting in creating and updating menus, ensuring proper food storage and handling practices, and collaborating with front-of-house staff to provide seamless service to guests.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute culinary strategies to achieve operational goals and uphold company standards
* Supervise kitchen staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and quality standards
* Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards, maintaining consistency and presentation
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
* Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices to comply with regulations and ensure food safety
* Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation, to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels

Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a hospitality setting, proficiency in culinary techniques, knowledge of kitchen operations, and familiarity with MS Office Suite. Additionally, they must hold food hygiene, alcohol, and allergen certification, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be authorized to work in the UK.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 31 days holiday per year, pro-rata, life insurance, free staff meal on shift, paid Uber home after midnight, refer-a-friend bonus, annual company party, and team discount.
