About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at our Exeter Sidwell Street shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing stock, and maintaining a high level of store presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers and providing a positive shopping experience
- Sorting and displaying stock, including visual merchandising
- Handling cash and operating the till
- Following health and safety procedures
- Volunteer management, including planning, prioritizing, and delegating tasks
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to manage time effectively
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
