Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Fairfield Farm Crisps. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues, and provide training and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems, and participate in health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with maintenance management software and tools.
