We are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Specialist to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about exploring the diverse beliefs and values that shape our world.

About the Role

This position involves developing and delivering engaging RE lessons that encourage students to explore and reflect on their own beliefs and those of others. You will create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement RE lessons that promote critical thinking and respectful dialogue among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum and provide enriching learning experiences.
  • Encourage students to think critically about the world around them and foster empathy and understanding.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Degree: Religious Education or related field.
  • Certification: PGCE or QTS.
  • Experience: Teaching RE at KS3/4 levels.
