Job Description

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Cleaning and Support Professional to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various areas within the hospital, including patient rooms, corridors, and public spaces. They will work closely with the Domestic Supervisor and other colleagues to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate can expect to earn around £19,000-£21,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the trust offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas within the hospital
  • Work collaboratively with the Domestic Supervisor and other colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Report any equipment defects or stock shortages to the relevant authorities
