About the Role: As a Senior HPC Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, installing, and maintaining software modules. You will also produce online documentation and stay up-to-date with current and future developments in the HPC field. To succeed in this position, you must have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant experience. You should be proficient in C, C++, Fortran, or a similar high-level language, with knowledge of parallel architectures and their applicability to running large scientific calculations. Familiarity with parallel programming concepts, including threading and MPI style parallelism, is also essential. Experience with debuggers and performance analysis tools, open-source software, and Unix/Linux environment would be advantageous. In addition to your technical skills, you must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely on technical matters.
