We are seeking an experienced Asset & Property Services Manager to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. This is a permanent position with a salary of £65,717 to £68,691 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, procurement, and delivery of complex projects with a value in excess of £5m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management and delivery of a capital/planned investment programme for the council's property portfolio.
  • Line manage a team of professionals, including Building Surveyors, Asbestos Surveyors, and Repairs Technicians.
  • Develop and implement strategies, procedures, and processes for key service areas, including major/planned works, aids and adaptations, damp and mould.
  • Manage the procurement process for all aspects of a programme, covering works, consultancy, and legal services.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, including budgets and timelines.
Requirements
  • Experience in project management, procurement, and delivery of complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building legislation, including Planning, Building regulations, CDM, Health & Safety Legislation, and Party Wall Act.
  • Excellent programme/project management skills and commercial awareness.
