About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, close-knit team as an IFA Administrator in a local independent financial planning firm. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to the Financial Advisers and other support staff to deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the company's CRM system (Intelligent Office) for new and existing clients, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
  • Process new business cases and follow them through to completion, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Competently handle client transactions, including withdrawals, deposits, and fund switches, as requested.
  • Issue letters of authority and liaise with providers to ensure business is promptly actioned.
  • Handle client queries to an excellent standard, providing timely and effective communication.
  • Arrange client meetings and assist with meeting preparation, including updating cash flow models and preparing review packs and valuation reports.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in supporting Financial Advisers as an Administrator or similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using software such as Intelligent Office, Cashcalc, Iress Exchange, and FE Analytics would be beneficial.
